LIFE are as forceful a group as you’re likely to find in 2016. The black-clad Hull group deal in a sneering, ferocious sucker-punch of punk-rock - a mission statement that’s caused an instant frenzy on the airwaves bagging multiple spot plays from Annie Mac, Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart on Radio 1 as well as it being relentlessly hammered by the man himself, Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music (the band helped bring Lamacq to Hull during their headline Independent Venue Week Tour). Furthermore LIFE’s breakthrough single ‘GoGoGo’ also scored well on both BBC6 Music and Radio 1 and earned the band a place on Radio 1’s best of BBC Introducing list.

The band are unhinged depiction of modern punk and having played countless tours across Europe with appearances at The Great Escape, Live at Leeds, Kendal Calling, Liverpool Sound City and Leeds and Reading Festival to name a few as well as supports with Slaves, Palma Violets, Twin Peaks and Twin Atlantic the Hull four piece have become one of the country’s finest live bands. Huw Stephens, himself, stating the band were one of the UK’s acts to watch out for this year.
