Synopsis

Since the band's formation in 2014, The Mighty and the Moon have built a large and loyal fan base stretching from Hull to Leeds, Manchester, London and even the US!
With influences ranging from Tom Waits to Damien Rice, Radiohead to Ryan Adams, the band plays a beautiful wide mix of Alt Country, mixed with elements of Alt Folk, Americana, Blues, Jazz and indie, delivering heartfelt and mature music with full harmonies and live shows to match.

Regulars on main stages at some of Hull's major festivals such as Humber Street Sesh, Freedom Festival, Cornucopia and Cottingham Folk Festival.2016 saw two new additions to the line-up with Emma Fee (Happy Endings) and Benjamin Wall (The Silver Reserve), the band have evolved again and a new batch of material shows the talents of the multi instrumentalists as they swap and change throughout their show.

The band have released several EP's and their debut album " Songs of the Morning Bird " has now reached a 4 figure sales point, not bad for an unsigned band.
