Cottingham Comedy Club Presents Sully O’Sullivan
Thu 14th Mar 2019 @ 7:30 pm£8 – £10
We are Back at the Backroom.
After such a warm welcome and a great night of comedy in January we have arranged for our future events to run there. So we are back with a treat, a return of the face that launched the club Sully O’Sullivan.
Sully O’Sullivan is a seasoned headliner who has performed all over the world. Starting back in June 1998 in his native New Zealand, Sully rocketed to stardom making his TV debut 7 months later appearing on New Zealands cult comedy program Pulp Comedy on channel TV2. Sully then went on to make a further three more appearances on the show.
In 2005 Sully decided to spread his comedy wings and head to the sunny coast of Britain. 11 years later Sully has performed in almost every part corner of this country including Scotland, N. Ireland, Wales, Isle Of Man, Isle Of White & The Channel Islands! Basically, there are not many places in the UK that Sully hasn’t been. Renowned as a solid act capable of performing in any room and to any audience, Sully has also built up a reputation as one of the most reliable and solid compere’s on the circuit.
Plus the usual support: a professional opener and two up and coming acts in the middle section.
And hosting proceedings is everyone’s favourite compere Jed Salisbury.
Doors open 7:30pm, show starts 8:00pm
Tickets £10 in advance or £12 on the door (£8 with NUS / NHS or What’s On Hub card)
Tickets available at HullBoxOffice.com or to collect from the venue itself on the night: The Back Room, 175a Hallgate, Cottingham HU16 4BB (please message us on FB or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve tickets to purchase on the night at the advance rate)
Cottingham Comedy Club, the village’s only comedy venue, provides a unique comedy experience in many ways. This intimate club gets you up close and personal with the acts, many of whom are breaking through into TV, or are established acts from the UK and international comedy circuit. We are a welcoming venue and we have a dedicated room for the comedy, with regular breaks between the acts for you to lubricate your throats with laughter juice. With four acts and a compere it’s great value for money at less than £2 per comedian. We think it’s the most fun you can have with friends on a midweek night out.
