VMS Live and Inner City proudly present Cub Fest, a new festival that’s been curated and established this year. Cub Fest is an all-dayer at The Welly in Hull where you can immerse yourself in up-and-coming new music by bands that are taking the indie scene by storm.
A powerful line up of Louis Berry, Eliza & the Bear, Clean Cut Kid, The Night Café, Anteros, ISLAND, Paris Youth Foundation, Stereo Honey and more exciting artists that are yet to be announced will be taking to stage on Saturday the 14th of October.
Cub Fest has launched for a chance to have budding bands and fans of a similar genre together with the aim to draw further attention to the music that these rising bands create. This is a strong bill of artists who’ll bring their much-loved music to two of VMS Live’s venues. Cub Fest commences in October, an ideal date for music lovers on the scout for their next gig fix as the festival season heads to a close.
With critical acclaim already coming from tastemaker heavyweights including Radio 1, Radio X, The Guardian and Clash, Louis Berry will be headlining Cub Fest with his expressly crafted melodies and hard-hitting lyrics. Eliza & the Bear will also be joining the bill with their catchy jams, along with Liverpool’s thrilling anthemic guitar-pop quartet Clean Cut Kid. Adding to this Liverpudlian bill are The Night Café & Paris Youth Foundation.
With catchy guitar-licks and well-rounded vocals, Londoners ISLAND & indie-poppers Anteros (who were chosen as one of Annie Mac's 'New Names for 2016’) along with dreamy indie-rockers Stereo Honey, who are firmly on radars this year have also been announced on the line-up for Cub Fest.
With tickets going for £15 and a total of ten bands, this all-dayer is a must to stick in your calendar.
